Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy governs all service engagements with ZegaliLimited, including financial advisory services, consulting, training programs, equipment leasing, and other service offerings.

This Refund and Cancellation Policy governs all service engagements with ZegaliLimited, including financial advisory services, consulting engagements, training programs, equipment leasing, and other service offerings. All engagements are subject to the terms of a signed service agreement or engagement letter.
Financial Advisory & Consulting Services
2.1 Retainer Fees
Where a retainer fee has been agreed upon and paid, the retainer is non-refundable once the engagement has commenced and preliminary work (including scoping, NDA execution, or initial advisory) has been undertaken.
2.2 Success Fees
Success fees are performance-based and are payable only upon achievement of agreed milestones (e.g., financial close, funding commitment). No success fee is charged if the agreed milestone is not achieved, except where the project was withdrawn or abandoned by the client.
2.3 Client-Initiated Cancellation
If a client chooses to terminate an engagement after commencement, the following applies:
- Cancellation within 14 days of engagement commencement: 50% of the agreed upfront fee is refundable, minus any out-of-pocket expenses already incurred
- Cancellation after 14 days: No refund of upfront fees. ZegaliLimited will invoice for all work completed and expenses incurred to the date of termination
- Cancellation notice must be submitted in writing to info@zegali.org.ng
Corporate Training Programs
Cancellation and refund terms for training programs are as follows:
- Cancellation 30 or more days before the training date: Full refund of training fees paid
- Cancellation 15 to 29 days before the training date: 50% refund of training fees paid
- Cancellation 14 days or fewer before the training date: No refund. A credit note may be issued for rescheduling within 6 months
- ZegaliLimited reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a training program. In such cases, a full refund or alternative date will be offered
Equipment Leasing (Vehicles & Security Assets)
Leasing agreements are governed by the specific terms of the lease contract. In general:
- Lease deposits are refundable upon return of the asset in agreed condition, after deducting any repair costs or outstanding charges
- Early termination of a lease agreement may attract an early termination fee as specified in the lease contract
Procurement & Logistics Services
Where procurement has already been initiated on a client's behalf, cancellation fees may apply to cover costs already committed or incurred with suppliers and logistics providers. These will be invoiced on an actual-cost basis.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 10 to 15 business days of written confirmation of the refund decision. Refunds will be made to the original payment method or account unless otherwise agreed in writing.
